What you need to know before you bring your dog

Dogs are welcome at Barnharrow Holiday Pods. We are, located in beautiful countryside and have the perfect location for your companion to enjoy the fresh air, have a run about or just enjoy a bit of sunbathing!!


For your pet’s safety and the consideration of other guests, we do ask that dogs and their owners follow a few rules while staying with us.


• A maximum of two dogs are allowed in each of our pods.

• No dogs under the age of one years old are permitted.

• All dogs must be house trained.

• Dogs must always be kept on a lead during their stay, as we do have livestock in our fields.

• Dogs must always be properly controlled and supervised.

• Dogs must NOT be left alone in the pod.

• We ask owners to bring their dogs’ bedding/baskets etc.

• We will provide throws for the sofa but please bring additional ones if required.

• There is a steel ring hook on our patio sleeper which you can attached your dog’s lead too.

• Guests are asked to clean up after their dogs, both inside and outside the property, or extra cleaning costs may be charged.


In the interest of guest’s safety, especially children and the welfare of our other guests’ dogs, the following breed of dogs are not allowed at Barnharrow Holiday Pods. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.



Breeds classified under the Dangerous Dogs Act: 


  • Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero, XL Bully
